DIA INTERNACIONAL DO CROCHET 12-09-2013 - INTERNATIONAL CROCHET DAY

Olá queridas leitoras,

Achei graça saber que  existe o Dia Internacional do Crochet. 

Tinha apenas 5 anos quando fiz os primeiros pontos, porque agulhas e linhas sempre me encantaram. 

Crochetar é um  dos meus anti-stress favoritos. Crochetar na praia é algo fantástico para mim.

Aqui partilho paninhos de linho que fiz e embelezei com crochet.

I was amused to know that there is the International Day of Crochet.
I only had five years old when I made the first crochet stitches, because needles and threads always enchanted me.
Crochet is one of my favorite anti-stress. Crocheting on the beach is fantastic for me.Here I share linen cloths that I made and embellished with crochet.

Recordando as passadas férias, aqui deixo fotos da Estação Ferroviária de S. Bento no Porto. 

Esta Estação é célebre pelos seus belíssimos painéis de azulejos (20.000 azulejos) de temática histórica. Cobrindo uma superfície de cerca de 551 metros quadrados, representam, principalmente, cenas passadas no Norte do país. Um friso colorido, no átrio, dedica-se à história dos transportes em Portugal, concluindo com a inauguração dos caminhos de ferro.  Não são deslumbrantes?

Recalling my past vacation, here I share photos of beautiful tile panels of Railway Station S. Benedict in Porto ( north of Portugal).
The station is famous for its tile panels (20.000 tiles) of historical theme. Covering an area of ​​about 551 square meters, mainly represent scenes set in Northern Portugal. A colorful frieze in the lobby, dedicated to the history of transport in Portugal, concluding with the opening of the railway. Aren't  they stunning?

Setembro chegou!

Com ele virá o doce Outono que  definitivamente é a minha estação favorita.

Os dias ainda estão quentes mas as noites já se notam mais frescas e agradáveis.

Regressei de umas relaxantes férias e começo por agradecer todo o carinho deixado pelas vossas visitas, MUITO OBRIGADA!

Organizei o meu espaço de costura, reuni tecidos, lãs e fios e comecei a projectar os meus novos trabalhos.

Antes de ir férias fiz alguns sacos reversíveis com bolsinhas a condizer que irei compartilhar por estes dias. 

Aqui mostro o  primeiro. O tecido não é um encanto?

September has arrived!

With it will come the sweet autumn definitely my favorite season.

The days are still warm but the nights are already noticeable cooler and pleasant.

I returned from a relaxing vacation ! I start by thanking all the affection left on my blog, THANK YOU!

I organized my sewing space, gather fabrics, wool and yarns and I began planning my new crafts.

Even before the holiday, I made some reversible bags that I share these days.

Here is the first. The fabric is a charm, isn't it?

CAPA PARA LIVRO - BOOK COVER

Olá queridos leitores,

 

A todos os que por aqui passam um gigante obrigada!!! Adoro os vossos simpáticos comentários!!!

 

Quase, quase de férias... lá fora as cigarras não param de cantar... o calor continua... e eu dei férias à máquina de costura!

Terminei alguns trabalhos de mão e comecei a dedicar-me a algo  que adoro fazer especialmente em férias, ler!

Adoro ler romances históricos e mergulhar na época em que se desenrola a acção.

"D. Amélia" é um livro muito interessante, onde  Isabel Stilwell, habilmente nos trás a história da última rainha de Portugal. Nascida em Londres em 1865, filha do Conde de Paris,  morreu aos 86 anos em Versalhes.

Hoje partilho convosco uma capa que fiz para levar para férias. Adapta-se a qualquer espessura de livro, uma vez que só é fixo o lado esquerdo. Também fiz um pequeno marcador a condizer.

I'm almost, almost on vacation ... outside the cicadas do not stop singing ... the heat goes on ... and I gave a vacation to the sewing machine!
I finished some handy work and I began to devote myself to something I love doing, especially on vacation, read on!
I love reading historical novels and dive into the era in which the action unfolds.
"Amelia" is a fascinating book, where Isabel Stilwell,  expertly tells the story of the last Queen of Portugal. She was born in London in 1865, daughter of the Count of Paris and died aged 86 in Versailles.
Today I share with you a cover I made to take to holidays. It adapts to any thickness of book, since only the left side is fixed. I also made a small bookmarker to match.
