Hello dear readers,
It's amazing, we are already in August!
Here the weather is pleasant to live outdoors, enjoying the sun and walk, walk ....
In the summer I love to wear handmade sweaters with several threads and stitches.
Today I share the last one I made.
I love this stitch, and you?
I also share the ride I made to the Windmills Park in Ajuda- Restelo- Lisbon. It is a green space with pond, playground, trees, shrubs, lawns and two windmills, Santana Windmills. Located within the city of Lisbon between buildings and roads and from there you can enjoy a beautiful landscape of the city.
My inspiration....
Making the flower...
Apreciem!
Santana Windmills were built in the century. XVIII for Irish Dominican nuns of the Convent of the Good Success. Currently, in Lisbon, they are the only perfectly preserved testimonies of important activity responsible for the supply of flour.
The mills were purchased by the City in 1942 and restored between 1964 and 1965 by the Portuguese Association of Friends of the Windmills.
To me they have always been a fascinating place to walk.
Enjoy!
