CAPA DE AGENDAS - DIARY FABRIC COVERS

Olá queridos visitantes,

Como vai o tempo por aí? Por aqui temos algum frio, chuva e o sol só espreita de vez em quando. Afinal estamos no Inverno, mas os dias já se notam a crescer.

Hoje partilho convosco o primeiro projecto do ano, capas de agenda. Não me entendo sem agenda onde anoto diariamente coisas importantes, afazeres, curiosidades e tudo e mais alguma coisa. A minha querida tia Ana Maria deu-me este tecido que achei  ideal para fazer a capa da minha agenda 2016. A minha filha viu-a e pediu-me logo uma igual mas para o seu caderno de notas. O resultado foi este!

How's the weather out there? Here we have some cold, rain and the sun just peeking from time to time. After all we are in winter, but the days already notice to grow.

Today I share with you the first project of the year, Diary covers. I always need a diary where I daily write important things, chores, curiosities and everything and anything else. My dear aunt Ana Maria gave me this fabric that I found ideal for the cover of my 2016 Diary . My daughter saw it and asked me to make one for her notebook. This was the result!

Colei pequenos brilhantes nos faróis dos eléctricos que ficaram amorosos, não acham?

I glued small bright beads in the car lights of electric trams. Aren't they lovely?

Para forro escolhi o amarelo mostarda a combinar com os eléctricos e juntei um marcador em seda encarnado.
I chosed for lining  the mustard yellow to match with the  electric tram and joined a marker in red silk.

Não faltou um pequeno elefante com a tromba para cima para dar boa sorte :)

Adoro o número 28. Casei a 28 de Dezembro como marcado na caneta azul (abaixo) e a minha querida filha nasceu a 28 de Julho. Por coincidência o transporte mais famoso da cidade de Lisboa é o número 28. Eis a razão porque adoro tanto este tecido.

I love the number 28. I got married on December 28 and my dear daughter was born in the 28th of July. Coincidentally the most famous transport of my city is the Lisbon electric tram number 28. This is the reason why I love this fabric so much.

E esta latinha em forma de eléctrico cheia de rebuçados "I love Portugal" não é linda?
And this tin-shaped  as an electric tram full of candies, "I love Portugal" isn't it so cute?

A minha kalanchoe/flor-da-fortuna como habitual floresce no Inverno.
My kalanchoe /fortune-flower as usual blooms in winter.

Por aqui andam os eléctricos a dar vida e cor às ruas de Lisboa.
Lisbon eletric trams give life and color to city streets.

Os encarnados cheios de turistas dão voltas à cidade. Alguém já andou neles ?
The red electric trams are always full of tourists doing city tours. Did already someone ride on them?

ECHARPE DE FANTASIA COM BRILHO - FESTIVE FANTASY SCARF

Olá queridos visitantes,

Em tempo de festa um acessório com brilho faz sempre sucesso. E como queria  animar o decote de um vestido preto esta foi a minha ideia.

Today I share with you a fantasy scarf. I wanted to cheer up a black dress and this was my idea.

Já há algum tempo que  tinha este novelo. O fio de fantasia está cheio de pequenas lantejoulas douradas.

For some time I had this ball. The fancy yarn is full of small golden sequins.

Usei uma agulha circular nº 6 e montei apenas 6 malhas.

I used a circular number 6 needle and cast on only 6 stitches.

Foi crescendo.... Keep growing...

E com um pouco de paciência rápidamente a obra ficou pronta! 

And with a little patience quickly the work was completed!

É versátil no modo de usar e confortável. 

It is versatile in how to use and comfortable.

CLUTCH NOVA E PASSEIO DE ANO NOVO - NEW YEAR WALK AND A NEW CLUTCH

Olá queridos visitantes,

Enfim estou de regresso! Passaram vários meses desde o meu último post mas o meu tempo foi insuficiente para fazer tanta coisa. Agora aos poucos, vou partilhando convosco o muito que fiz e irei visitá-las para me inspirar.

Agradeço todo o carinho que vão deixando por aqui, é sempre muito motivador.

Assim, começo pelo primeiro dia de 2016. Muito vento, muita chuva mas nem por isso deixei de cumprir a tradição de ir passear junto ao mar. Partilho as fotos e a clutch que fiz para mim.

At last I'm here! My last post was some months ago, but my time wasn't enough to make so many things. Gradually I'll share what I've done. I also will visit you.

I appreciate all the love that you leaved here, it's always very motivating.

Today I share my first day of 2016 and the clucth I´ve done for me. There was a lot of wind, heavy rain but I did not give up to fulfill the tradition to go walking by the sea.

A cluch é em napa maleável, sem forro, com uma aplicação e uma borla no fecho feita com o mesmo material. Gostam?

The clutch is in faux leather, unlined, with a tassel on the zipper made of the same material. Did you like it?

 

Devem notar a ventania e a chuva na Praia da Adrága - Sintra. Se não fosse tão persistente não tinha saído do carro.

You should notice the wind and heay rain in Adraga Beach - Sintra. If I were not so persistent I had not come out of the car.

Assim estava a minha praia favorita no primeiro dia de 2016. 
So was my favorite beach on the first day in January.

Ao fim da tarde a caminho de casa parei na Praia da Poça - Estoril, onde o tempo estava um pouco melhor.
Late in the afternoon on the way home I stopped at the Poça Beach - Estoril, where the weather was a little better.
   

Adoro este painel de azulejos na praia, onde cada peixe foi desenhado por alunos do Ensino Básico em 2003. 

No centro uma frase do poeta Sebastião da Gama - " Pelo sonho é que vamos..." E como é bom irmos sempre sonhando, perseguindo os nosso sonhos sem nunca desistir.

I love this tile panel on the beach where each fish was designed by students of Basic Education in 2003.

In the center a phrase from the poet Sebastião da Gama - "From dream is that we go ..." And it's so good to dream and always pursue our dreams without ever giving up.

XAILE DE VERÃO EM CROCHET - CROCHETED SUMMER SHAWL

Olá!!!

Após quase 3 meses longe deste meu espaço ... aqui estou para dar notícias. Estou bem, efectivamente muito bem!     

A Primavera passou a correr e desde Abril que se realizaram vários sonhos antigos. Um deles prende-se com o facto de estar a aprender modelagem de criança dos 0 aos 12 anos. É fascinante mas deixa-me sem tempo para estar convosco por uns meses. Espero que entendam.
Porém, sempre que possível partilharei os meus projectos pois nunca estou parada. As visitas aos meus blogues preferidos e as respostas aos vossos simpáticos e estimulantes comentários é que estarão comprometidos.

No passado domingo, aqui em  Lisboa foi a festa do Japão, no Jardim do Japão, em Belém. Foi o cenário que escolhi para partilhar o fim de tarde com o meu xaile de crochet. Usei um fio um pouco brilhante e embora a franja tenha sido muito trabalhosa não se embaraça o que é uma grande vantagem.

Adorei o resultado, o xaile é confortável, leve e tem um tom neutro que gosto muito.

After almost three months away from this space ... I am here to give news. I'm fine, really well and very happy!
Spring passed very quickly but brought me great surprises. Since April that several old dreams took place. One of them relates to the fact that I am learning child modeling from 0 to 12 years. It is fascinating but leaves me no time to be with you for a few months. However, whenever possible I will share my work. It'll be very difficult to me to visit my favorite blogs and thank your friendly and stimulating comments. I hope you understand.
Last sunday, here in Lisbon - Belém was Japan's festival. It was the perfect local that I chose to share with you the evening with my crochet summer shawl. I used a bright yarn and although the fringes were very laborious they don't embarrass easily, which is a great advantage.
I love the result, it is comfortable, lightweight and has a neutral tone that I love.
